Embedded
Systems Engineer
We are in need of an embedded systems engineer to design,
develop, document and test embedded real-time software and hardware in
areas of motor control, digital audio processing and data
communications. Successful candidate will have a BSEE/CS or equivalent,
strong communication skills and experience with structured software
development using C and Assembly language.

Assemblers
We are in need of several reliable person(s) to join our production
team. Good manual dexterity and good eyesight (corrected) a must.
Soldering skills a plus, but will train the right person. Duties of this
position will vary depending on applicants skill level, but may include
making wire assemblies, testing, programming and packaging the finished
products. Attention to detail and the ability to follow both verbal and
written instructions a must. Salary commensurate with experience. Apply

Production Manager
Summary
We have an immediate opening
for a Production Manager at our manufacturing plant in Durango,
Colorado. This key position
will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day production activities
related to the manufacture of consumer electronic products and directly
supervises 5-10 production employees.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate must
be a hands-on individual who possesses a high level of drive, energy and
integrity. Strong
leadership qualities and team building skills are essential. The
individual should have the ability to motivate subordinates and peers to
work toward common objectives.
It is also important that the
individual have an attention to detail with good analytical and problem
solving skills to manage the many processes under their watch. Excellent
oral and written communication skills and the ability to draft reports
and procedures are required.
The company is embarking on a strategic transition towards lean
manufacturing processes and disciplines. The ideal candidate must be a
change facilitator and possess demonstrated leadership qualities as a
Kaizen leader with a proven background in implementing Lean
Manufacturing concepts and experience in teaching, facilitating and
coaching organizations in the tools and techniques of Lean
Manufacturing.
Qualified applicants will have a four-year degree in Manufacturing,
Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical Engineering and 3+ years of
supervisory experience in an electronics manufacturing environment.
A working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing practices and experience with
advanced PCBA Manufacturing, SMT, lead-free solder, PCB rework and test
is required.
Core Responsibilities
The Production manager will be
responsible for maintaining the availability of finished goods by
determining, monitoring and updating production priorities, managing
staff and equipment, and working with planning and purchasing to ensure
material requirements are met.
Duties of this position will include:
Working as a member of the production and
management teams to achieve company objectives.
- Managing production personnel by
planning, assigning and directing work; interviewing and training
employees; coaching and counseling employees; rewarding and
disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; appraising
and reviewing job contribution; planning and reviewing compensation.
- Achieving operational objectives by
contributing production planning information and recommendations;
preparing and completing action plans; implementing production,
productivity, quality and customer-service standards; recommending
technology solutions to improve profitability; identifying and
implement process changes to improve manufacturing efficiency.
- Determining production priorities by
reviewing customer orders and production schedules; analyzing
equipment, material and employee availability; coordinating
schedules with sales and purchasing.
- Leading the introduction,
maintenance and evaluation of lean manufacturing techniques.
- Maintaining a positive work
environment and ensuring compliance with safety standards and
established policies and procedures.
- Management of production equipment
maintenance process.
- Evaluating production performance
and providing regular reports to the management team.
