SoundTraxx Sierra is available in diesel versions as well! 

Sierra is designed to be installed onboard a locomotive in conjunction with a speaker to provide the ultimate in realistic sound. Sierra integrates a full featured digital sound system and special Hyperlight™ lighting effects into a single, compact electronic module. 

Each Diesel Sierra sound system produces sound effects for the engine startup, engine RPMs, engine shutdown, bell, airhorn, dynamic brakes, air tank pop valve and a few other surprises. Because Sierra’s sound effects are integrated with our special lighting features, you’ll can set up the Ditch Lights (or any other warning beacon you select) to flash automatically when you activate the grade crossing signal! 

SoundTraxx Sierra is available with prototype-specific sound and lighting effects for a multitude of North American and foreign locomotives. Depending on the effect, the sounds are generated continuously, automatically in response to some other action, or as controlled by the user.
