Supply and Logistics Clerk

Job Description
The Supply and Logistics Clerk is responsible for directly performing all shipping, receiving and inventory management functions that are relevant to supporting SoundTraxx Operations, Service and Sales functions. This position requires efficient multi-tasking and the ability to prioritize tasks.

Key Tasks

Pick and pack daily sales and service invoices, as well as any outbound material
Process all documentation required for foreign shipments
Maintain an accurate inventory on all shipping supplies
Evaluate use of all shipping supplies for best utilization
Maintain UPS and Indicia databases
Perform regularly scheduled cycle count activities
Create and maintain accurate performance metrics
Coordinate receiving and inspection of occasional container shipments
Stay abreast of sales and shipping goals for week/month
Transport shipments to the Post Office or Federal Express as needed
Evaluate best practices for shipping internationally
Receive and inspect raw materials and inventory
Maintain SoundTraxx inventory processes, systems, and physical inventory
Kit parts for use on the production floor
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the shipping and stock room
Education or Prior Experience
High School diploma or equivalent
Knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel
Prior shipping experience a plus
Experienced with UPS Worldship/Endicia a plus

No travel is associated with this position. Must have a functional vehicle for occasional trips to the local Post Office or Federal Express and/or an acceptable driving record for use of the company vehicle. Ability to accommodate occasional necessary overtime to meet project deadlines.
